Todays images are of the Haag Atletiek Club’s annual Kerstcross (Boxing day cross-country run) Kijkduin taken on 26 December 2012.
For most of us Boxing day (tweede kerstdag) is well earned day of rest, that is except for the runners of the Haag Atletiek Club who take part in the club’s annual boxing day cross-country run (kerstcross). There’s a 1km run for the children and a choice of a 3km or 7 km for the adult runners. Skies were bright as the rain held of for the runners of the cross-country course as they traversed the natural contours of the Kijkduin sand dunes.
Todays photographs were taken on 26 December 2012.
