The Haag Atletiek Clubs ‘Oliebollencross’ is a series of cross-country courses run over 2K, 4K and 8K. The Oliebollencross is an open race attracting runners from many of The Hague’s athletic clubs. The ‘Oliebollencross’ runs over dunes and through The Hague woods.
The Oliebollencross is so named because of the traditional deep fried ‘Oliebollen’ (doughnuts) sold during the Christmas and New Year period.
