A Sunday stroll along the Boulevard turned into a walk back in time to life in the Middle Ages.
At each of the The History Market stalls you were met by an enthusiastic stallholder in period dress, eager to inform and to demonstrate the skills of a specific Medieval craftsman. Demonstrations of Medieval crafts ranged from an Arrow Maker to a Potter and included a Blacksmith, Amourer, Model Maker, ‘Swordsman’ , Shoe Maker and Rope Maker.
Children were involved too, participating in the Rope-Making demonstration, which resulted with them skipping with the rope that they had just recently created using Medieval Rope-Making techniques.
Visitors to the History Market were also entertained by Medieval Musicians in period dress who played music with instruments from the Medieval era.
