The 31st annual Mascotte ‘International Kite Festival’ (Vlieger Festival) was held on Scheveningen Beach on the weekend of the 29 & 30 September 2012. The Kite Festival is the largest in the Netherlands and the oldest in Europe. This year’s theme was marine animals, with fish, frogs, Octopus, sea horses and whale kites on display.
