Todays images are of The RTC Puinduin Run on Sunday 22nd January 2012.

The RTC Puinduin Run is an annual cross-country event whose participants run up and down the dunes of Ockenburg. The event is organised by the Residentie Triathlon Club, Den Haag.

Ockenburg is located next to Kijkduin on the North Sea Coast. With grey overcast skies and adverse weather conditions, the runners were exposed to bone-chilling winds of 25 mph gusting to 40 mph.

The race started at 11.00 am and the participants ran up to three circuits of the cross-country course in a short (3.5 km), medium (7.0 km) and long (10.5 km) version of the race.
