Todays images are of ‘Sail-boarding’ taken on 24 June 2012.
With strong winds, in excess of 35km per hour, sail-boarders took to the sea at Scheveningen.
With a stinging sand storm on shore, there was more activity on the water with almost perfect conditions for sail-boarding.
The sail-boards provided a colourful spectacle for the few hardy spectators on an otherwise grey overcast afternoon, with the sail-boards leaping into the air, flipping over and avoiding collisions there was excitement for spectator and sail-boarder alike.
